The Akuma unique black men’s hat is a very fun and quirky hat. It is our perspective on the classical Fedora hat with wide brim. In contrast with the Fedora hat and most hats, which are made of felt, we made it of a nice matte cotton satin fabric. The wide brim is machine stitched several times to create some firmness. Also the brim has two dart seams. In first place these give a quirky accent to the brim but also have a function. Because of these darts the brim gets some flexibility to tip down or up. It changes the style of this unique black hat.
Where the Fedora crown is typically creased lengthwise down the crown and pinched near the front on both sides, the Akuma hat is asymmetrical folded in 3 parts and stitched down on the crown.
How to style this unique black men’s hat
For all hat lovers we have a unique and fun version of the Fedora. This hat can wear in multiple styles in contrast with the classical Fedora. This is possible because of the two darts on the brim of the hat. These give a quirky look to the slightly messy hat but have as function to tip the brim up for a tight brim or slightly tip down for a more loose and slightly wavy brim.
Wear it with the brim slightly tip up to approach the more classic look of the Fedora. Wear it more gangster style tipped slightly to the right front to get a more mysterious look. Or choose to wear it more on the back of your head to create the bohemian look.
